Radical Biden ATF Nominee Shows His Disdain For Gun Owners
Joe Biden’s pick to lead the ATF, David Chipman, does not hide his disdain for the average gun owner. After spending 25 years in the ATF and retiring in 2012, Chipman began his work as an anti-gun lobbyist. Chipman supports a complete ban on semiautomatic rifles and forced registration and tax of current AR-15 owners who have already completed background check requirements.
Does this sound like someone who will protect our Second Amendment?
In a recent interview, Chipman made his hatred for gun owners clear:
David Chipman: “In their mind they might be confident, they might think that they are die hard ready to go, but unfortunately they are more like Tiger King and they’re putting themselves and their families in danger. So what I will suggest is for those people who were first time gun owners, if they did go out and buy a gun, I would secure that gun locked and unloaded and hide it behind the cans of tuna and beef jerky that you have stored in the cabinet and only bring that out if the zombies start to appear and I don’t think they are.”
So the man nominated to head the law enforcement agency charged with enforcing gun laws doesn’t think people should own guns? They should be hidden away because they are dangerous? That people who own guns are more like “Tiger King” than someone ready to defend themselves or their family?
During the “pandemic,” Chipman advocated for governors to completely shut down gun stores, saying “people who hoarded the guns might decide six months from now — once they see no zombies around, but they’ve run out of tuna and beef jerky — that they need the money to buy food.”
This was also about the same time that America was facing nationwide rioting and skyrocketing violent crime, a great time to buy a gun.
We must not let his nomination be confirmed.
